Hello. My name is Janet Silver. I am a Registered Member (MBACP) of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have been a therapist since 1987.
I work from a designated peaceful, and appealing room in my home in Ilford.
My clients come mostly from East London and Essex but recommendation has allowed me to see clients from different areas of London. I have experience helping people with various problems such as:

Counselling provides a space for you to speak - in total confidentiality - about whatever is troubling you; to share your innermost thoughts and feelings to someone who will listen to you empathically, not judge you, and allow you to express anything that you want to say.
The confidential nature of this special relationship provides the opportunity for you to think about yourself and your life in new and creative ways, gaining different perspectives on past and present difficulties.
I practise with an integrative model of therapy bringing together selective elements of specific therapies. I offer a safe, supportive environment and my counselling model allows for sufficient flexibility to accommodate the needs of each individual client.
My work with you can be short, medium or long-term, with regular reviews.
I work within the BACP Ethical Framework of Good Practice.

No parking restrictions. There is no disabled access but I am able to see clients at ground floor level when necessary.
My practice can be accessed from Redbridge and Gants Hill on the Central Line and from Ilford Station, Cranbrook Road.

Fees: £50 per session (individuals)
£60 per session (couples)
(Hypnotherapy different fees.)
Appointments: Mon to Fri 11 am to 6 pm.
Sat 11 am to 1 pm.
